Professional Indemnity

A marketing consultancy was hired to deliver social media services for a client, including Google Ad campaign setup. Due to a miscommunication within the team, the ad campaigns continued to run beyond their allocated budget for three months. This resulted in charges of $9,422 beyond what had been authorised by the client. The client made a claim against the marketing consultancy alleging they had not managed the campaign in line with the agreed budget.

The insurer reviewed the claim and agreed to indemnify the consultancy under the Civil Liability component of their Professional Indemnity policy. A total of $9,422 was paid to the client.
